The position involves performing welding and burning tasks according to specified guidelines and directives. The individual will be responsible for reading job drawings to identify the appropriate welding symbols and will utilize structural and miscellaneous skills to fabricate components from blueprints. A strong emphasis is placed on ensuring that safety and quality control standards are consistently met throughout the fabrication process. The role encompasses a variety of duties including welding, cleaning, sweeping, fabrication, painting, and other tasks assigned by the supervisor to maintain a clean, functional, and hazard-free shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in welding, with experience in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques. Preference will be given to those who have experience with MIG and TIG welding specifically with aluminum and stainless steel materials. The position requires the individual to be able to read a tape measure fluently and possess a valid driver's license or reliable transportation. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to work overtime as needed and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and safety in all aspects of their work. A drug screening and a welding test will be required prior to hiring.
