About the position
The Fabricator position involves supporting the foam fabrication team within a leading manufacturing company. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while performing various fabrication tasks.
Responsibilities
- Cut, assemble, glue, tape, stack, pack, wrap and prepare labels.
- Aid Fabricator III and/or Fabricator II in the execution of their essential duties.
- Work scheduled hours and overtime any day including Saturday.
- Read prints, cut sheets, apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions & pay attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn all aspects of the manufacturing process & be flexible.
Requirements
- Ability to add and subtract multiple digit numbers and to multiply and divide multiple digit numbers.
- Ability to read tape measure to 1/16 inch.
- Basic knowledge of machine operations, computers & able to troubleshoot.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & work well with others.
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds or more.
