About the position

We are seeking a skilled Media Buyer to lead our direct response media buying efforts on Facebook and across various social platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of media buying strategies, with a focus on driving innovation and creativity in campaign execution. This role requires hands-on execution of campaigns, testing on Meta ads, and the ability to identify opportunities for scaling and improving return on investment (ROI). The Media Buyer will also be responsible for mentoring a team of direct reports, providing guidance, strategy, and thoughtful leadership to ensure the success of our advertising initiatives. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing to set performance goals and metrics, as well as work with the Copy and Content departments to enhance advertising creatives and landing pages. You will be tasked with monitoring budgets, adjusting bids, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess campaign performance. A/B testing of landing pages and spearheading optimization efforts will be crucial to your role. Additionally, you will be expected to write appealing and concise copy, suggest new campaigns across multiple channels, and stay updated on PPC and Paid Media trends. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of senior manager-level experience in media buying on Meta, along with a solid understanding of direct response advertising and consumer psychology. Strong leadership skills are essential, as you will be directing a team and managing relationships with upper management. Responsibilities

  • Hands-on execution of campaigns and testing on Meta ads.
  • Identify opportunities and execute within current campaigns to scale, test and improve ROI on Facebook.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to grow, test, scale and otherwise improve campaigns, ad/page copy and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to determine team performance, goals and metrics.
  • Collaborate with and provide insight to Copy and Content departments to continually improve and test new advertising creatives, landing pages and other forms of media.
  • Identify why something is not working.
  • Be involved in keyword selection and audience targeting.
  • Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI.
  • Track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues.
  • A/B test landing pages and spearhead landing page optimization.
  • Write appealing and concise copy.
  • Suggest and develop new campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Keep abreast of PPC and Paid Media trends.

Requirements

  • At least 4+ years of experience in senior manager level buying skills on Meta.
  • Manager level copywriting understanding for direct response campaigns.
  • Experience in ad creation, particularly with Photoshop, and ability to generate creative ideas for ad creatives.
  • Strong technical skills, including understanding of Pixels, Tracking, and Attribution.
  • Ability to efficiently pull and build reports.
  • In-depth understanding of direct response advertising and consumer psychology.
  • Great leadership skills to effectively direct direct reports and manage upwards with the Head of Marketing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with scaling consumer goods products for e-commerce companies.
  • 3 years of experience in Facebook Advertising.
