About the position

Software Resources has an immediate contract job opportunity for a Facilities and Operations Logistics Coordinator with a major corporation in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The resource will work onsite five days per week, Monday through Friday. This position involves driving to other company locations on occasions within a five-mile radius, requiring the use of a company vehicle. The role is essential in supporting various operational tasks and ensuring smooth logistics within the facilities management team. The Facilities and Operations Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for general ordering from SAP and other vendors, managing vehicles, assisting with mail services, and supporting space planning. The coordinator will also send out communications, assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, and coordinate with other members of the Facilities and Operations team to complete tasks related to tenant improvements, moves, billing, vehicles, mail, audiovisual needs, and warehousing. This role requires coordination with vendors to bid work, conduct punch walks, ensure work is completed properly, and track billing. Additionally, the coordinator will assist in the global logistics movement of assets between the primary warehouse and project locations. They will ensure the daily compilation of warehouse shipping requests through the warehousing software system and assist in developing and coordinating outbound and inbound shipments while ensuring timely delivery of goods. The coordinator may act as a representative of the Facilities and Operations Division on the project team, requiring strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Assisting in developing and coordinating outbound and inbound shipments while ensuring timely delivery of goods
  • Acting as a representative of the Facilities and Operations Division on the project team

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in an office and project type environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Basic support of projects from beginning to end
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work well and maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
  • AA degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must be able to drive a company vehicle
