About the position

As an On-Site CAD Technician/Designer at Business Furniture, you will be an integral part of the onsite Design Team located in downtown Indianapolis. This role involves space planning and creating accurate AutoCAD drawings for corporate office environments, ensuring that client needs are met through effective design solutions. The position emphasizes collaboration with end users and project managers to deliver high-quality results while maintaining project documentation and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Space planning of corporate administration open office and private office furniture
• Creating accurate AutoCAD drawings and documents for presentation and implementation of projects
• Engaging with end users to determine solutions to best meet their needs
• Managing and updating documents and drawings in Lilly Facility Management Tool
• Assisting project manager with quotes, purchase order entry, and documentation
• Maintaining complete and accurate project files
• Managing vendors and their expectations

Requirements

• Experience working as an Interior Designer or Facilities CAD Planner
• Thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• College degree required
