About the position

The Facilities Coordinator at AgCredit is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing building operations to ensure that facilities and equipment are safe and well-functioning. This role involves developing long-term strategies for the Association's physical presence in the marketplace and executing strategies around facility assets. The coordinator will serve as the project management representative, coordinating contractors and professional services to achieve strategic goals while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the general maintenance of the Association's buildings and grounds, overseeing and participating in building repairs, maintenance, supplies, and operating equipment.
  • Assists and coordinates all activities related to occupancy, construction, maintenance, relocation, and renovation of all lending and administration offices.
  • Partners with tenants and owners to coordinate and assist in repairs and maintenance of their suites and common areas.
  • Ensures all facilities remain safe and meet relevant federal, state, and local building codes.
  • Obtains competitive quotes for major repairs and additions or renovations to buildings, checking that agreed work by contractors has been completed satisfactorily.
  • Manages emergency calls in non-working hours, responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
  • Maintains business recovery supplies and serves as primary manager of all business continuity plans related to buildings and equipment.
  • Supervises the renewal of maintenance service contracts for all locations, including repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and security services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as facilities management, business administration, or similar area, or five to seven years of experience in maintenance, facilities management, construction, or a similar field.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and basic repair skills.
  • Basic understanding of environmental regulations and County codes.
  • Basic skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to review and prioritize maintenance requests and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use discretionary judgment in making sound decisions and solving problems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to provide an exceptional level of customer service in all interactions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in project management or facilities management software.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
