About the position

The Facilities Coordinator at Anduril Industries plays a crucial role in supporting the company's operational needs by managing facilities-related tasks and ensuring a safe, functional, and inspiring work environment. This position involves logistical coordination for company events, handling service requests, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to maintain and enhance the physical workspace. The Facilities Coordinator will also engage in hands-on tasks, such as furniture assembly and minor repairs, while supporting the facilities manager in various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for company events, including setup, teardown, and logistical coordination.
  • Receive, delegate, and prioritize facilities-related service requests.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to address issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Curate and maintain a dynamic physical space that fosters creativity, confidence, and collaboration.
  • Support an environment that inspires and motivates the team.
  • Perform tasks like patching, painting, and crafting bespoke solutions.
  • Assemble and install furniture items as needed, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  • Support the facilities manager with various tasks and projects as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and demonstrate a willingness to assist others.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facilities services, including cleaning, security, and landscaping.
  • Assist with the implementation of facility renovations, refurbishments, and new construction projects.
  • Create, process, and track purchase orders for facilities-related supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Respond to emergency situations or urgent issues involving the facility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Facilities Coordinator or similar role.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to preventing and resolving facility issues.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs overhead unassisted.
  • Relevant certification or degree in facility management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
