About the position

Littelfuse is a leading global manufacturer of electronic components, serving over 100,000 end customers across various markets. The Facilities & EHS Manager is responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of facility equipment, ensuring environmental regulatory compliance, and meeting EHS requirements. This role is crucial for maintaining the facility in optimal condition to support production efficiently and cost-effectively. The manager will oversee maintenance, systems monitoring, and repairs, while also managing contracts for select external services. Additionally, the role involves leading compliance efforts with environmental, health, and safety regulations, collaborating on key initiatives, managing audits and inspections, and driving continuous improvement in safety and sustainability across the site.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting of equipment across various systems, including electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and software aspects.
  • Perform all work to industry standards complying with applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and chemical handling.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling preventive maintenance (PM) and managing parts, supplies, chemical, and gas inventories.
  • Determine Facilities & EHS related CapEx and plan and coordinate execution of such projects.
  • Interface closely with contractors, service providers, and vendors, ensuring compliance with ISO9001, IATF16949, and ISO14001 certification requirements.
  • Manage EHS compliance activities, risk assessments, and safety evaluations to identify risk minimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with SBU Global EHS Manager on strategic initiatives and implement programs effectively and timely.
  • Act as the EHS Management Representative for regulatory agencies and manage compliance audits and inspections.
  • Champion site risk reduction efforts, including management of change and emergency response.
  • Lead site teams during 8D investigations of accidents and near misses and report findings to site and EHS leadership.
  • Organize and facilitate site ERT and safety committee teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Facilities Management and EHS within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
  • Expertise in facility operations, including HVAC and electrical systems, with strong project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and semiconductor-specific safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership abilities to mentor teams and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications in facilities and EHS management software and ISO compliance (ISO14001, IATF16949).
