About the position
The Facilities Equipment Technician at McDonald's of the Permian Basin is responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks across various facilities. This role involves both preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in optimal condition. The technician will receive ongoing training in specialized equipment maintenance and safety protocols, making it suitable for both entry-level candidates and those with specific skills such as electrical or refrigeration expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment.
- Conduct basic lighting repairs and fixture repairs.
- Manage parking lot repairs and striping.
- Address safety issues related to outside grounds.
- Perform plumbing repairs and HVAC cleaning.
- Conduct basic structural repairs and painting as needed.
- Handle interior repairs including tile, electrical, and plumbing work.
- Assist in emergency repairs and maintenance in additional properties.
Requirements
- Basic repair and maintenance skills.
- Driver's License is required.
- 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge and skills in industrial maintenance.
