About the position

The Facilities Group Manager will lead and mentor a team of structural engineers and project managers, overseeing operations related to Building Envelope, Structural Systems, Due Diligence, and Building and Code Compliance. This role involves managing projects, performing technical report reviews, preparing proposals, and ensuring quality control while also engaging in marketing and business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers and project managers.
• Oversee and manage all Building Envelope, Structural Systems, Due Diligence, and Building and Code Compliance operations.
• Manage projects and perform technical report reviews.
• Prepare proposals and manage departments and group-related P&L.
• Assist staff in marketing services and maintaining client interactions.
• Lead marketing and business development functions in the market sector.
• Interact with senior staff and mentor junior staff members.
• Oversee quality control and management of projects related to building facilities.
• Assist with recruiting and maintaining adequate staff levels in the group.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Engineering from an ABET accredited program preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant facilities consulting experience.
