About the position

Omnia360 Facility Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician I to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This full-time position primarily operates during the first shift and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00, depending on experience and skills. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that service delivery to our clients is timely and of the highest quality. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs and troubleshooting of all facility systems, minor electrical system troubleshooting, HVAC preventative maintenance, and general upkeep of the facility. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. In this position, you will be expected to perform repairs and maintenance on various aspects of the facility, including floors, stairways, partitions, drywall, painting, doors, windows, and furniture. You will also assist with landscaping and exterior upkeep as needed. The role involves driving company vehicles for tasks such as snow removal and material pickup, and utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders. Responsibilities

  • Ensure that service delivery to the client is timely and of the highest quality.
  • Perform repairs and troubleshooting of all facility's systems.
  • Conduct minor troubleshooting of faulty electrical systems/circuits.
  • Perform minor HVAC preventative maintenance, including replacement of filters as needed.
  • Replace door locks and hardware.
  • Repair and maintain floors, stairways, partitions, drywall, painting, doors, windows, and furniture.
  • Assist with installation/repair of equipment.
  • Help with landscaping and exterior upkeep of the location as needed.
  • Drive company vehicles for miscellaneous tasks such as snow removal and material pickup.
  • Utilize CMMS work order system.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
  • High School Diploma or GED; additional schooling preferred.
  • 3+ years of related experience or a combination of experience and schooling.
  • Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
  • Personal hand tools are a plus.
  • Ability to complete required safety classes and work in a safe manner.
  • Ability to pass required background check and drug test.
  • Valid driver's license and legally able to operate a motor vehicle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Apartment maintenance & HVAC certification with a minimum of 1 year experience.
  • Basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and drywall skills.
