About the position

Pima Federal Credit Union of Tucson, AZ is looking to hire a full-time Facilities Maintenance Specialist. This position is responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the Facilities Department as well as maintenance of all credit union facilities including buildings, real estate, construction, remodeling, renovation, relocation, and occupancy. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist manages all facilities tickets and requests received through the credit union's ticketing system to maintain property appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on a timely basis. Regular visits to branches to perform property inspections will be required. This position is responsible for completion of daily maintenance activities including, but not limited to paint touch-up, picture hanging, relocation of employees, etc. Additionally, the Facilities Maintenance Specialist provides the maintenance and resolution of issues/repairs affecting credit union facilities to ensure a safe, fully functional, and well-maintained environment for staff and members, while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations and requirements. Additional job duties may include obtaining cost estimates, acquiring contractor bids, reviewing design plans, and presenting a strategy for building projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day tasks in the Facilities Department.
  • Maintain all credit union facilities including buildings and real estate.
  • Handle maintenance requests through the credit union's ticketing system.
  • Perform regular property inspections at branch locations.
  • Complete daily maintenance activities such as paint touch-up and picture hanging.
  • Provide maintenance and resolution of issues affecting credit union facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Obtain cost estimates and acquire contractor bids for projects.
  • Review design plans and present strategies for building projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a task-oriented facilities environment is required.
  • A valid driver's license and excellent driving record is required.
  • Knowledge of general construction techniques including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems is required.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to facility management is preferred.
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Suite and effective communication skills is required.
  • Ability to travel to different branch locations and events.
