About the position

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology solutions, including engineered systems, RF components, and advanced printed circuit boards. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the facility, grounds, and equipment within a high-production industrial environment. This position requires a skilled individual who can handle various building and construction projects, including remodeling, upfitting, and repairs. The Technician will be expected to adapt quickly to different project needs, demonstrating proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, and painting, among other skills. Safety is paramount, and the Technician will receive training in chemical handling and will be provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure compliance with safety protocols. The role involves working both independently and as part of a team to complete a variety of tasks, including maintenance and repair of the facility and production equipment. The Technician will perform routine carpentry work, electrical repairs, and minor landscaping tasks, ensuring a safe and clean work environment. The position requires physical stamina, as the Technician will be expected to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with at least one year of experience in facility maintenance or related trades. Responsibilities

  • Complete various building, carpentry, and facility remodeling projects independently and within a team setting.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of the facility, production equipment, and grounds while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Conduct routine carpentry work, including minor paint jobs, installing doors, and setting forms for concrete.
  • Replace light bulbs and make electrical repairs, such as replacing electrical receptacles.
  • Make minor grounds and landscape irrigation repairs and assist with snow removal when necessary.
  • Install forms and header boards, grade dirt areas, and operate trenchers and soil augers.
  • Perform light fabrication and construction finishing responsibilities, including painting and spackling sheet rock.
  • Follow and adhere to all environmental, safety, and health policies and procedures without exception.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years of facility maintenance equipment experience preferred.
  • Experience using trade skills such as carpentry, electrical, mechanical, electronics, painting, plumbing, and/or welding preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in applying general maintenance practices and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
  • Mathematical ability sufficient to perform basic calculations.
