About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Technician at AdventHealth Ottawa is responsible for maintaining work orders, preventative maintenance programs, and the overall operations of the facility and its utilities. This role involves repairing and maintaining various systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry, ensuring the facility operates efficiently and safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work orders and preventative maintenance programs for the facility and off-site properties.
• Repair and maintain structures, machinery, mechanical equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, painting, general carpentry, and basic HVAC.
• Participate in call coverage as required for full-time engineering technicians.
• Review maintenance requests and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Conduct periodic inspections of the facility and grounds to assess general condition and progress of work.
• Assist in maintaining corrective, emergency, and routine maintenance of buildings and equipment.
