About the position
The Facilities Maintenance Technician at Apple Autos is responsible for maintaining and repairing company facilities and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment. This role involves conducting inspections, performing routine and preventative maintenance, and responding to maintenance requests. The technician will work independently and as part of a team to uphold the company's commitment to extraordinary customer experiences and employee empowerment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, electrical repairs, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, storage rooms, and tools.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular hot water boiler inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
Requirements
- Experience in facility maintenance, including knowledge of building systems and equipment.
- Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Record keeping and basic computer skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with hot water boiler maintenance.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
