About the position

The Facility Maintenance Technician is a versatile and skilled professional responsible for maintaining and optimizing various equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility. This role requires a diverse set of technical skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving. The technician will be the primary point of contact for general maintenance needs across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate HASS CNC machines for precision manufacturing tasks.
• Program and maintain laser engraving equipment for molding machines, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
• Perform minor repairs and regular maintenance on injection molds to ensure optimal performance.
• Clean and maintain injection molds to extend their lifespan and maintain product quality.
• Design and build End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) for molding department robots, improving automation efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on sewing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with embroidery machines and automatic fabric cutters.
• Perform small-scale building maintenance tasks to keep the facility in good working condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures and extend machinery life.
• Provide basic programming support for laser engraving devices, injection molding robots, embroidery machines, and automatic fabric cutters.
• Assist in optimizing equipment settings for improved efficiency and quality.
• Adhere to and promote safety protocols and ergonomic guidelines in all maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards during maintenance operations.

Requirements

• Technical training or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or related fields.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Basic programming knowledge for CNC machines, laser engravers, and robotic systems.
• Familiarity with injection molding processes and equipment maintenance.
• Experience with sewing machine maintenance and repair is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various departments.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance needs as they arise.
