About the position
The Facilities/Maintenance Technician at Eden Green Technology plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of the facilities. This full-time position involves a variety of tasks including maintenance, construction, janitorial duties, and food safety support. The technician is expected to respond promptly to maintenance requests and food safety issues, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The role requires adaptability to different shifts based on business needs and may include on-call assignments.
Responsibilities
- Respond to high priority maintenance tasks within 1 hour of notification.
- Respond immediately to Food Safety issues and resolve according to prescribed Food Safety Procedures.
- Update Maintenance tracking system (Upkeep) daily.
- Close out tickets upon completion.
- Account for tools used on a daily basis and return to the tool locker when done for the day.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to use basic math and measurements.
- Ability to multi-task and stay focused.
- Able to work effectively on a team and unsupervised.
- Familiarity with tools and machinery.
- Effective communication skills in English.
