About the position
As a Facilities Multi-Craft Technician at QuikTrip, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment across our stores, including refrigeration units, commercial kitchen equipment, and plumbing systems. This role requires a diverse skill set, including carpentry, electrical work, and HVAC-R repairs, and involves handling higher priority calls to resolve critical issues efficiently. Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair refrigeration units and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Perform carpentry, plumbing, and low voltage electrical work.
- Handle specialized HVAC-R repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair general equipment issues.
- Efficiently route and prioritize daily work orders.
- Respond to higher priority calls and resolve critical issues promptly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a reputable refrigeration school or completion of an Apprenticeship Program.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with refrigeration systems and EPA Type II or Universal certification.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC-R systems, electronic equipment, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
