About the position

The Facilities Multi-Trade Technician at QuikTrip is responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment across the company's stores, including refrigeration units, commercial kitchen equipment, and plumbing systems. This role requires a skilled technician who can handle diverse tasks such as carpentry, low voltage electrical work, and specialized HVAC-R repairs. The technician will prioritize and resolve critical issues efficiently, contributing to the overall operational excellence of the stores.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refrigeration units and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, and low voltage electrical work.
• Handle specialized HVAC-R repairs and troubleshooting.
• Prioritize and efficiently route work orders daily.
• Respond to higher priority calls and resolve critical issues promptly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a reputable refrigeration school or completion of an Apprenticeship Program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with refrigeration systems and EPA Type II or Universal certification.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC-R systems, electronic equipment, carpentry, and plumbing.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair general equipment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
