About the position

The Facilities Program and Strategy Manager at LMI is responsible for applying facilities management expertise and engineering techniques to support facility infrastructure projects in the National Capital Region. This role involves collaboration with the client's Facility Program Manager to provide project support, manage data analysis, and ensure effective use of the BUILDER SMS application for real property maintenance and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

  • Apply facilities management experience and critical thinking to provide project support in real property maintenance and infrastructure management.
  • Collaborate with the client's Facility Program Manager to offer BUILDER support, including operations and maintenance (O&M) forecasting and user access management.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of data for facilities projects forecasting and planning.
  • Conduct advanced analysis of facility condition data to identify trends and produce recommended work candidates and estimated costs.
  • Gather data inputs from on-site technicians via BUILDER and coordinate resolution of technical conflicts with site facility managers.
  • Assist in developing and planning prioritized facilities projects based on BUILDER data and update Facility Condition Index reporting.
  • Facilitate and manage the enterprise plan for migrating new assets into BUILDER.
  • Support Facility Master Plan efforts by developing planning requirements and milestone tracking.
  • Perform analysis and generate reports to inform maintenance and capital improvement decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture or Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or General).
  • High school, vocational school, or trade school diploma plus five years of relevant work experience may substitute for degree requirements.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of federal facility management experience encompassing all phases of the facility lifecycle process.
  • Experience with large-scale Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Archibus, Maintenance Connection, MAXIMO, TRIRIGA, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
  • Ability to handle multiple, demanding, and complex tasks in a timely manner with accurate results.

Nice-to-haves

  • Functional knowledge and experience with the BUILDER SMS application, including data migration and reporting.
  • Experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) or Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL).
  • Master's degree in engineering, construction management or a related technical field.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE), Registered Architect (RA), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or AIA certification.
  • Certification from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
