Our 25+ community-based and residential programs serve thousands of at-risk youths from birth to age 26. Many of these children have experienced abuse, neglect, trauma, or a disrupted family life. Under the general direction of the Director of Facilities, the Project Manager provides leadership and coordination on high-level projects and initiatives across multiple departments. This is a hybrid remote position, with travel to project sites as needed. The Project Manager will manage a variety of plans and programs designed to achieve agency goals and priorities, including the development, implementation, and ongoing progress monitoring of construction, remodeling, and updates to facilities. The role involves coordinating and facilitating the work of multidisciplinary teams for the purposes of planning and implementing projects and initiatives. This includes identifying necessary resources such as contractors, permits, staffing, and equipment, facilitating team meetings, preparing timelines, and delivering reports on project status. The Project Manager will also establish positive relationships with Facilities staff, program leadership, contractors, and government agencies, and assist in reviewing and analyzing proposed projects and initiatives. Regular updates will be provided to senior leaders on the status of projects, and documentation of decisions made in meetings will be required. Additionally, the Project Manager may assist with vehicle fleet management and procurement, and will be required to operate a vehicle as needed. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in project management, permitting, and building codes, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to lift/move up to 50lbs repeatedly. Varied work hours may be necessary, and the ability to access all areas of buildings and facilities is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of plans and programs designed to achieve agency goals and priorities.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the work of multidisciplinary teams for project planning and implementation.
  • Identify necessary resources such as contractors, permits, staffing, and equipment.
  • Facilitate team meetings regularly, both remotely and on-site, to review project status.
  • Prepare timelines and deliver written and oral reports on project status.
  • Ensure that team meetings are scheduled as needed and that all parties have relevant documents in advance.
  • Establish positive relationships with Facilities staff, program leadership, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of projects.
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing proposed projects and initiatives, including project proposals and plans.
  • Provide regular updates to the Director of Facilities and other senior leaders on project status.
  • Document decisions made in staff and other meetings.
  • Assist with vehicle fleet management and procurement.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with experience in project management, permitting, and building codes.
  • Ability to read and comprehend construction prints and plans.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer.
  • Ability to access all areas of buildings and facilities, including roofs, ladders, and rough terrain.
  • Must be able to lift/move 50lbs repeatedly.
