About the position

The Facilities Project Designer at JM Family Enterprises is responsible for ensuring brand compliance and supporting design initiatives for Toyota Dealership facilities in the southeastern region. This role requires strong project management skills and proficiency in design software to assist in visualizing dealership layouts and maintaining accurate site plans.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute the brand compliance process for facilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent administrative processes.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of the regional Image II facility website.
  • Assist in facility assessments and provide design assistance using 2D/3D modeling software.
  • Review and critique design development and construction documents provided by the dealer's architect.
  • Maintain and update dealer floor and site plans in AutoCAD and ensure compliance with facility standards.
  • Update dealership records Toyota Dealership Agreements (TDA) upon property acquisitions.
  • Process monthly Toyota dealership expense submissions.
  • Manage the sign program for Toyota Dealerships in the southeast region.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino)
  • Ability to understand and review construction documents
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with various teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Previous experience in facilities design or project management is preferred.
