About the position

The Facilities Project Manager at Fisher Investments will play a crucial role in supporting the facilities management group by overseeing a variety of projects, from office rearrangements to new building construction. This position involves maintaining project reports, schedules, and costs while ensuring the daily execution of critical operations. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a strong understanding of facilities infrastructure and business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management support for a range of facilities-related projects.
  • Maintain reports on project status, schedules, and costs.
  • Oversee daily execution of critical operations related to facilities management.
  • Work with end-users, vendors, contractors, IT staff, and business liaisons to develop plans and specifications for projects.
  • Understand technical components of existing systems to implement requested changes.
  • Gather project requirements and assist with planning and continuous improvements.
  • Present project plans, capital requirements, and budgets to senior management.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and support specifications for suppliers and equipment requirements.
  • Track and manage actual expenses against budgets and contracts, providing progress reports.
  • Analyze vendor support contracts and review proposed changes to ensure they meet organizational needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities project management.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and HVAC principles.
  • Experience managing 3rd party vendor and contractor relationships.
  • Strong technical knowledge supporting IT infrastructure development and maintenance.
  • Proven expertise in understanding and defining business processes and collecting data.
  • Experience in building relationships with project partners.
  • Comfortable working in a large organization across various business groups and time zones.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP).
