About the position

In RE&D, we don’t sit back and let things happen, we make things happen, and we do this in service to all Apple employees and customers. Our team is a diverse and forward-thinking group that manages Apple’s workplaces and workplace services. We develop and run Apple’s global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world. We are seeking a motivated, collaborative professional to join our team with an extraordinary customer service focus. You will have the ability to interact with Apple business functional and customers at all levels in your day to day work.

Responsibilities

  • Concentrate on move project-focused initiatives, inventory, maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), vendor and IC account management, secure access requests, regulatory record-keeping, and assist with other tasks as assigned.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Facilities Team, playing a crucial role in fostering a streamlined and well-organized work environment for our teams.
  • Coordinate and lead various customer and secure move project-focused initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of departmental supply ordering, from identifying needs to tracking inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking, and optimizing cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all groups within Facilities, fostering consistency and compliance with established protocols.
  • Regularly update and maintain organization charts, reflecting changes in staffing, reporting structures, and other relevant information.
  • Implement and maintain a robust documentation system, organizing essential records and ensuring standardization.
  • Streamline and manage bulk updates for vendor accounts, overseeing access extensions and ensuring that vendor relationships align with organizational requirements and standards.
  • Provide comprehensive support for onboarding and off-boarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new team members and efficient off-boarding for departing employees.
  • Process secure access change requests, adhering to protocols and ensuring access privileges align with Facilities team requirements.
  • Support regulatory compliance by managing and organizing site-specific records, ensuring that documentation is up-to-date and readily available for audits and inspections.
  • Assist with the execution of building audits, providing necessary documentation and support to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred, or 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience working in a fast-paced multi-facility environment with a focus on operations, project management, and administrative services.
  • Experience in Tririga, Excel and Keynote is a must.
