About the position
The Facilities Tech Maintenance Electrician at Boyd Gaming Corporation is responsible for performing various electrical tasks, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and devices. This role is crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of electrical equipment within the casino environment, contributing to the overall operational efficiency and safety of the facilities.
Responsibilities
- Pull wire, bend conduit, install and wire up electrical devices
- Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems
- Assist in load-testing generator packages
- Assist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, and civil assembly for setting power packages
- Read blueprints
- Perform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete projects (i.e. brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels, etc.)
- Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment
- Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have previous electrical experience
- High School Diploma or GED
