About the position

The Facilities Technician position at Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. is a full-time role within the Retail Support Division, focused on maintaining and preserving the interior and exterior of retail store locations across various islands. This role offers a comprehensive experience in retail operations and contributes to the overall success of the stores through effective preservation assignments. The technician will work closely with the Retail Facilities Manager and interact with store teams to ensure high standards of maintenance and service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary service to Retail Store Teams at 30+ locations.
  • Operate various types of equipment including pressure washers and hand tools.
  • Ensure preservation of building interiors and exteriors, fueling areas, and surrounding sites.
  • Perform general preservation tasks for building components.
  • Follow a facilities maintenance program for timely project completion.
  • Maintain pressure washer equipment.
  • Assess issues and communicate with the Facilities Manager.
  • Demonstrate painting skills and experience in related areas.
  • Work with various equipment, tools, and materials as required.
  • Respond to callouts and work overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Passing DOT medical exam after hire required.
  • Minimum 2 years in construction or maintenance field required.
  • Certification in technical, mechanical, or carpentry training preferred.
  • Experience working in retail petroleum fueling areas preferred.
  • Ability to drive all company-controlled vehicles required, including a boom truck.
  • Reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from work sites.
  • Proficient in English communication, both orally and in writing, including Microsoft Office skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hazardous material handling.
  • Experience with water reclaiming and boom truck operation.
