We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Commercial Facilities Technician to join our team at our multi-location medical clinic. This role is integral to maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our clinic facilities across various sites, encompassing standard commercial building repairs including but not limited to minor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, flooring, locks, and more. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, prioritize safety, and hold certifications such as OSHA 10 and CPO (Certified Pool Operator). Additionally, the candidate must provide their own safe and reliable transportation for traveling between our network of buildings and be willing to perform after-hours work as requested. The Facilities Technician will perform maintenance tasks across multiple clinic locations, executing duties such as painting, drywall repair, ceiling tile replacement, door hardware repairs, carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical work. The technician will utilize all tools and equipment effectively and safely for troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance tasks related to architectural systems and components. Compliance with ladder safety protocols and safe work practices when working at heights is essential. The technician must also be able to lift and move large or awkward objects safely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment. In addition to performing maintenance tasks, the technician will maintain and operate pool facilities as a Certified Pool Operator, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The technician will independently prioritize and respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from Facilities staff and the Facilities Work Order System, ensuring minimal disruption to clinic operations, which may include after-hours work. Coordination with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services may also be necessary, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to budget constraints. Accurate records of maintenance activities will be maintained using computerized maintenance management systems, documenting repairs, inspections, and equipment history. Adherence to health and safety regulations, building codes, and clinic policies relevant to facilities maintenance, including OSHA standards, is required.
