About the position
The Landscape Site Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of both landscaped and non-landscaped areas of a building's exterior. This role includes supervising a team of 5-6 associates, managing contractors for landscape and snow removal, and performing general landscape duties. The position also involves assisting with vehicle and equipment maintenance and ensuring effective management of operational tasks such as time sheets and billing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain lawn and hog areas throughout the site.
- Supervise a crew of 5-6 associates in lawn maintenance.
- Repair fences and gates.
- Manage storm water.
- Supervise landscape and snow removal contractors.
- Perform general landscape duties.
- Assist in vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Remove trash and repair exterior furniture and fences.
- Effectively manage time sheets, billing, proposals, and other office supervisory duties.
Requirements
- 2+ years of outdoor labor/landscaping experience running mowers and other lawn equipment.
- Experience leading a crew of at least 3-5 employees.
- Skills in landscape maintenance, mowing, lawn care, and weeding.
