About the position

The Facilities Technician at Golden Bolt is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations. This role involves various cleaning activities, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring that facilities are well-stocked and functional. The technician plays a crucial role in promoting safety and efficiency within the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and practice all Golden Bolt LLC.'s Safety programs, promoting safety as a culture to the team.
  • Follow all safety and OSHA regulations and other applicable state and local regulations.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Replenish needed supplies from rooms and bathrooms as necessary.
  • Ensure facilities are clean and organized.
  • Assist with all additional daily duties as needed.
  • Protect equipment and ensure there are no inadequacies.
  • Report defects found within the property to management and maintenance, including broken items, electrical and plumbing issues, and stained furniture.
  • Maintain the organization of the housekeeping storage rooms.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to cooperate with other employees.
  • Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision after the training period.
  • Ability to participate in cross-functional initiatives and lead teams of individuals.
  • Self-driven, focused individual with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and leadership.
