About the position

The Facility Analyst at Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for managing and troubleshooting building repairs and aesthetic issues in client retail stores. This role involves ensuring that vendors and projects are managed effectively, adhering to budget and timelines, while escalating issues to management for continuous improvement. The Facility Analyst works closely with onsite property managers, store planning, and finance teams to support the implementation of policies and procedures that ensure well-maintained facilities, with a focus on tenant satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the day-to-day operations of client retail properties are implemented according to C&W policies and client directives.
  • Supervise maintenance programs related to the properties' interior and exterior conditions.
  • Manage the Handyman Program and oversee all work orders until completion.
  • Maintain open communication with the Jacobs helpdesk regarding work order information.
  • Provide updates on vendor changes and PM schedule changes.
  • Assist in store set-ups and closures as needed.
  • Assess retail locations in person for any issues or concerns.
  • Review completed vendor work and address deficiencies.
  • Prepare financial reports, expenditures, and purchase orders related to the assigned portfolio.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare reports of statistical data for facility management objectives.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in facilities management, building, business, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in commercial or industrial real estate with facility management experience required.
  • Experience in maintenance, construction, engineering, and property operation preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certification recommended.
  • Experience with CMMS/Work Order Management systems.
  • Knowledge of Financial Systems (Yardi a plus).
