About the position

BuxBear Storage is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager to join our team at our self-storage facilities located in Post Falls and Hayden, Idaho. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the property in pristine condition. The position offers a consistent schedule of approximately 28 hours per week, with the potential for rapid promotion and increased cash compensation within the first year of employment. Ideal candidates will be outgoing, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with a strong desire to build relationships with customers and contribute to the success of the facility. In this role, you will be expected to maintain a high level of customer service, achieving a 90% answer rate for customer calls and effectively following up on customer needs. You will also be responsible for business development, maintaining a 75% lead-to-rental ratio, and logging marketing activities to track leads. Property management duties include leading day-to-day operations, collecting rent and fees, performing property inspections, and ensuring the property is well-maintained. Administrative tasks will involve coordinating with company vendors for maintenance and property improvements. This position offers a flexible schedule, with the expectation of working 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a 90% answer rate of customer calls and follow up with customer needs.
  • Achieve a 75% lead-to-rental ratio and develop new customer relationships.
  • Log marketing activity to keep track of leads.
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the facility.
  • Collect rent and fees from customers.
  • Perform property inspections and general maintenance to keep the property in immaculate condition.
  • Work with company vendors for maintenance, repair, and property improvements.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience (preferred).
  • Ability to relocate to Hayden, ID 83835 before starting work.
