FACILITY ATTENDANT PART-TIME

About the position

The Facility Attendant is a part-time, temporary position responsible for supervising the use of City facilities, setting up and maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with City policies. The role requires flexibility in working hours, primarily during evenings and weekends, depending on facility reservations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the use of City facilities and equipment.
• Set up and break down City equipment as needed.
• Provide assistance and information to building users.
• Perform facility check-in and/or checkout as required.
• Inform facility users of City laws, policies, and procedures.
• Perform minor clean-up or repairs as necessary.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure facility users adhere to facility use requirements.
• Maintain professional and courteous behavior toward co-workers and the public.

Requirements

• Equivalent to one year of paid or volunteer work in customer service, recreation, or community service program.
• Experience working with the public.
• Experience coordinating special events.
• Light building custodial experience.
