About the position
This position is for a Locum Tenens Family Practice Physician in Portage, Wisconsin. The role involves providing family medicine services, including patient care and deliveries, while working with a staffing agency that handles credentialing, travel, and housing arrangements for the physician.
Responsibilities
- Provide family medicine services to patients.
- Manage an average of 18 patients per day.
- Perform deliveries as required, averaging 0-1 delivery per shift.
- Participate in weekday and weekend call as needed.
- Complete necessary credentialing and privileging processes.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC) in Family Medicine required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
- DEA certification needed.
