About the position
The Facility & Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's facilities and inventory. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and repair of the building, managing inventory levels, and ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain company facilities, including buildings, equipment, and vehicles
- Ensure grounds are free of debris and in good state of order and cleanliness
- Oversee maintenance and repair of facilities
- Transport supplies to other locations as needed
- Load and unload trucks utilizing forklift and hand trucks
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement inventory management procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in facilities management or inventory management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Ability to work independently
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management or inventory management
