Responsibilities

  • Evaluate project requirements, including scope, specifications, labor requirements, and client expectations.
  • Determine accurate costs for labor, materials, equipment, and additional expenses required for project completion.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess project conditions and gather essential information for estimating purposes.
  • Prepare comprehensive and detailed bids that outline the scope of work, project timeline, pricing breakdown, and relevant terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure alignment throughout the estimation process.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all estimations, including project details and cost breakdowns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market rates, and new technologies related to janitorial and facility management services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bid Analyst in the janitorial and facility management services industry.
  • Strong understanding of janitorial services and facility management practices.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and tools, including Excel and WinTeam.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
