About the position

The Facility Maintenance Manager at R&R Solutions is responsible for overseeing and maintaining building-related activities to ensure that facilities are safe, well-functioning, and in good condition. This role involves hands-on management of maintenance tasks, including electrical work, inspections, and repairs, while also coordinating installations and refurbishments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all installations and refurbishments.
• Help create, maintain, and repair electronic components and equipment.
• Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
• Work on site to keep machinery and specialty equipment running correctly.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Perform day-to-day electrician services as needed.
• Keep financial and non-financial records.
• Maintain maintenance records as required by regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position.
• 2+ years' experience in the industrial electrical trade.
• Industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to analyze technical drawings.
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to work from standing, sitting, kneeling and stooping positions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• A licensed Tennessee Electrician will be a plus.
