As a Facility Maintenance Manager at AMC Theatres, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing all facility-related maintenance programs and procedures to ensure that AMC standards of cleanliness, safety, and repair are upheld. This role requires a proactive approach to facility management, where you will perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the building to identify necessary repairs and maintenance needs. You will be expected to carry out routine maintenance tasks in various areas including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and equipment repair, ensuring that all building components are in good working order. In addition to hands-on maintenance work, you will oversee vendor activities, scheduling repairs and maintenance as required, and closely monitoring their progress to ensure quality workmanship. Your role will also involve constant attention to life safety issues, ensuring that emergency systems are operational through regular inspections and vendor maintenance contracts. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that the theatre environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained for both associates and guests. Your leadership skills will be crucial as you provide training support for the market and uphold AMC's Business Practice Standards. You will also be responsible for tracking theatre Variable Operating Expenses (VOE) related to maintenance, repairs, and supplies, ensuring that all tasks are performed safely and effectively.
