About The Position
The Maintenance Manager position at Zober Industries is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the optimal condition and functionality of the facility and its operations. This role encompasses a wide range of maintenance tasks, including but not limited to equipment maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC installations, and general upkeep of the premises. The ideal candidate will be a thorough professional with a practical mindset and a keen attention to detail, capable of leading a team while adhering to health and safety guidelines. The position requires a cost-conscious individual who can work autonomously and responsibly, delivering timely and quality work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Troubleshooting manufacturing equipment will be a key responsibility, and you will selectively bring in external expertise when necessary. You will also perform maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, assist in the setup and repair of ventilation and refrigeration systems, and maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure their functionality. Additionally, you will inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed, perform manual repairs such as fixing locks and replacing windows, and undertake pest control activities. General upkeep procedures, including landscaping and other assigned tasks like painting and carpentry, will also fall under your purview. As a Maintenance Manager, you will assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to it while managing a team of 5-10 mechanics and contractors for small projects. This role demands a proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that Zober Industries maintains its reputation for reliable and quality service.
