Repair and Maintenance
About the position
This remote position requires the candidate to be located in Northwest Ohio, covering various retail and corporate bank properties. The role involves managing maintenance, construction, and remodeling projects, with a focus on self-performing 40-60% of the work. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage 15 - 50+ retail & corporate bank properties in various counties.
- Self-perform 40-60% of maintenance work.
- Project planning and budgeting for maintenance and construction.
- Develop work processes for vendors and contractors.
- Communicate with internal customers and natural owners.
- Operate Facilities Management work order system.
- Complete required in-person and online training sessions.
- Visit every assigned property quarterly and complete annual site assessments.
- Provide support to Regional Facilities Administrator, Facilities Manager II & Regional Facility Manager.
- Verify vendor performance and pricing.
- Manage minor projects including plumbing, electrical, and lighting repairs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- 3-5 years of Facilities Management experience including basic preventative maintenance.
- Experience with minor repairs involving plumbing, heating/cooling, and basic electrical repairs.
- Prior experience with creating and maintaining a budget for facility repairs and vendor proposal reviews.
Nice-to-haves
- Trade Certifications preferred.
- Computer proficiency including iPad, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Facilities Management software.
- Knowledge and skills related to building maintenance including HVAC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good project management skills including budgeting and documentation.
- Time management skills.
