About the position

As a Facility Manager for Event Parking at SP+, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every moment matters for our clients and customers. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional service by efficiently resolving client requests and proactively communicating with them to enhance our operations. You will lead a diverse team of employees, focusing on their development and training to ensure they embody the core values of Ingenuity, Diversity, and Integrity that SP+ stands for. This position requires a strong emphasis on customer service, as you will be tasked with creating a positive experience for all clients and patrons. In addition to managing your team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the facility. This includes ensuring that proper parking, security, and cash control procedures are adhered to, maximizing profitability through revenue development and expense management, and identifying procurement and vendor service needs. You will also handle general accounting duties such as accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash management. Monitoring facility maintenance to meet cleanliness standards and reviewing damage claims will be part of your daily responsibilities, along with implementing safety plans to prevent future incidents. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with all OSHA laws and regulations, which is critical for maintaining a safe working environment. You will be expected to react quickly to problems and find unique solutions to challenges that arise, all while maintaining a focus on delivering the best possible customer experience. Responsibilities

  • Deliver on our Promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients by resolving client requests and concerns efficiently and communicating proactively with clients on how to improve our operations.
  • Hire, develop, train, and supervise a diverse team of Promise-driven employees.
  • Identify proper staffing levels to complete duties, deliver a superior customer experience, and perform daily job functions.
  • Ensure that proper parking, security, and cash control procedures are followed.
  • Maximize profitability through revenue development, facility marketing, cash control procedures, expense reviews, and managing the operation's budget.
  • Identify all procurement and vendor service needs of the location.
  • Perform general accounting duties such as accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash.
  • Monitor facility maintenance for cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor and review all damage claims and recommend and implement plans or programs to improve the safety of operations to prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of similar claims.
  • Implement all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all OSHA laws.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates ability to lead, manage and motivate a diverse group of team members.
  • Passionate about going above and beyond to deliver the best possible customer experience and client satisfaction by finding unique ways to solve problems.
  • Prior experience developing budgets and P&L (Profit and Loss) review is a plus.
  • Ability to react and problem-solve quickly.
  • Experience using various computer applications/systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to learn internal computer programs.
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
