The Facility Manager II at Stanford Health Care plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities across the Tri-Valley and East Bay locations. This position is integral to the Facilities Services & Planning (FS&P) division, which provides essential non-clinical operational support to Stanford Health Care and its affiliated entities. The Facility Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 500,000 square feet, acting as the primary point of contact for customers, and overseeing a wide range of facility services including maintenance, security, cleaning, and emergency response. The role requires a proactive approach to customer relationship management, ensuring a safe and productive environment for patients, guests, and employees. In this position, the Facility Manager will lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations. This includes managing vendor relationships, conducting regular inspections, and implementing quality control measures. The Facility Manager will also be involved in financial management, seeking cost efficiencies, and preparing variance reports. The role demands a strong understanding of building systems and equipment, as well as the ability to assess project scopes and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards. The Facility Manager II will also participate in the FS&P On Call System, which may require availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
