About the position

The Facility Manager for Parking Services is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of ABM Facilities Services staff providing parking services. This leadership role ensures efficient facility management, financial oversight, customer relations, and staff development while upholding ABM’s policies, safety standards, and quality programs.

Responsibilities

  • Report daily to the ABM Branch Manager and executive leadership.
  • Supervise and support parking services staff, ensuring effective staffing and performance.
  • Promote positive employee, customer, and property management relationships.
  • Oversee daily parking facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, proposals, and project management.
  • Develop and implement operational best practices and ensure compliance with ABM policies, safety programs, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and audit parking ticket transactions and reconcile transient revenue from pay stations.
  • Handle daily deposits and payroll reporting.
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial and operational reports.
  • Assist with budget preparation, cost management, and vendor/contractor oversight.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain strong, positive relationships with property management teams and senior executives.
  • Support ABM in developing new business opportunities and expanding client partnerships.
  • Implement employee training and skill enhancement programs.
  • Administer structured employee discipline procedures as needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of professional reports, surveys, and correspondence.
  • Maintain oversight of administrative, budgetary, and financial processes.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years in parking facility management or related fields.
  • Prior management and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a customer-focused, team-oriented environment.
