About the position

The Facility Manager at CWD Group is responsible for overseeing the operations of a residential condominium community, ensuring the safety, security, and satisfaction of owners and residents. This role involves managing maintenance, compliance with regulations, and maintaining the common areas of the property while collaborating closely with the Business Association Manager and onsite team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operation of the residential condominium community.
  • Ensure compliance with City, County, and State regulations and building codes.
  • Maintain the Common Elements of the property and ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain staff organization and job descriptions with input from the Business Association Manager.
  • Interview, hire, train, and supervise onsite staff members in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Monitor vendor performance and manage service contracts for building maintenance.
  • Ensure the highest standard of building maintenance and repair activities.
  • Establish a custodial program for maintaining Common Areas in a professional manner.
  • Maintain onsite records for effective administration of Association programs and policies.
  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans and communicate them to onsite team members and residents.
  • Collaborate with the Board and Committees for smooth administration of the building.
  • Prepare monthly reports for the Board of Directors and attend meetings as required.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, residents, guests, and vendors.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in property and/or staff management, with a focus on residential high-rise management.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to train and supervise staff and outside contractors.
  • Experience with association management is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with emergency response planning.
  • Familiarity with building systems and maintenance protocols.
