About the position

As a Facility Manager for Valet Operations at SP+, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. This seasonal position, lasting approximately 8 months, requires a proactive approach to managing valet services and a commitment to client satisfaction. You will be responsible for leading a team of valet attendants, providing them with the necessary training and support to excel in their roles. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment that motivates team members to perform at their best. In this role, you will engage directly with clients, addressing their requests and concerns with efficiency and professionalism. You will also be tasked with maintaining open lines of communication with clients to identify opportunities for operational improvements. Your ability to resolve complaints and misunderstandings diplomatically will be key to ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Additionally, you will oversee the financial aspects of the valet operations, including budget management, revenue development, and expense reviews. Your experience in developing budgets and conducting P&L reviews will be beneficial as you strive to maximize profitability while maintaining high service standards. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing policies to enhance operational safety. Overall, your role will be pivotal in making every moment matter for our clients and their guests.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver premier customer service to our clients and resolve client requests and concerns efficiently.
  • Ensure proactive communication with clients regarding opportunities to improve operations.
  • Supervise valet attendant relations with clients to resolve complaints, disagreements, or misunderstandings about rates or services diplomatically.
  • Hire, develop, train, and supervise a team of employees.
  • Identify proper staffing levels to complete duties, deliver superior customer service, and perform daily job functions.
  • Ensure that proper parking, security, and cash control procedures are followed.
  • Maximize profitability through revenue development, facility marketing, cash control procedures, expense reviews, and managing the operation's budget.
  • Identify all procurement and vendor service needs of the location.
  • Perform general accounting duties such as accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash.
  • Monitor facility maintenance for cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor and review all damage claims and recommend and implement plans or programs to improve the safety of operations to prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of similar claims.
  • Implement all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all OSHA laws.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates ability to lead, manage and motivate team members.
  • Passionate about customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Prior experience developing budgets and P&L (Profit and Loss) review is a plus.
  • Ability to react and problem-solve quickly.
  • Experience using various computer applications/systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn internal computer programs.
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
