About the position

The Facility Manager is responsible for the daily operations and management of a facility within the Financial Services Retail Sites portfolio. This role serves as the single point of contact for facility management, ensuring the execution of Integrated Facilities Management while mentoring and leading the site team. The Facility Manager will report to the Senior Manager and is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, financial acumen, and operational oversight to meet client objectives and maintain high service levels.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and management of the facility.
  • Conduct financial analysis and accurate reporting/forecasting.
  • Develop and adhere to operating and capital budgets.
  • Evaluate service levels and develop sourcing plans with appropriate bidders.
  • Monitor workflow to ensure timely completion of tasks within established SLAs.
  • Inspect facilities regularly and ensure compliance with audits.
  • Mentor and guide the site team to enhance performance and career development.
  • Establish effective communication protocols with clients and team members.
  • Participate in meetings and share innovative ideas and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of industry experience in corporate, third-party service provider, or consulting roles.
  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; experience with CMMS is required.
  • Ability to manage both technical and administrative staff in a matrix organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.

  • Experience in real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting, and building systems.
