About the position

The Facility Manager at SP+ is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This role involves leading a diverse team, managing client relationships, and overseeing facility operations to maximize profitability and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently while communicating proactively to improve operations.
  • Hire, develop, train, and supervise a diverse team of employees.
  • Ensure compliance with parking, security, and cash control procedures.
  • Maximize profitability through revenue development and budget management.
  • Identify procurement and vendor service needs for the location.
  • Perform general accounting duties including accounts payable and payroll.
  • Monitor facility maintenance to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Review damage claims and implement safety improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and client satisfaction.
  • Prior experience in budget development and P&L review is a plus.
  • Ability to react and problem-solve quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal programs.
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in facility management or related field.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
