The Facility Manager, Back Office role is pivotal in executing and delivering comprehensive facilities management, including repairs and maintenance for Citizens. This position serves as the primary liaison to the facilities team, ensuring that all aspects of essential maintenance are effectively managed. The incumbent will coordinate and direct a team of mobile technicians and external vendors, providing extensive facilities support for the corporate office banking operations. This includes overseeing both the interior and exterior maintenance of the building and grounds, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards. In this role, the Facility Manager will lead day-to-day operations, manage a daytime janitorial team, and provide overall support for the Citizens corporate headquarters located in Johnston, RI. The responsibilities extend to leading service providers, coordinating vendor activities, and facilitating on-site event support by liaising with various business lines and departments. A key aspect of this position is the primary ownership of stakeholder engagement, ensuring that internal business partners and external customers receive flawless facility services that align with Citizens' commitment to delivering exceptional client service. The Facility Manager will also be responsible for assessing vendor performance from a quality standpoint, implementing necessary corrective actions, and conducting routine site inspections. This includes developing corrective action plans and capital planning strategies based on identified deficiencies. On-site facility management will encompass a wide range of maintenance and repair needs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, interior structures, roofing, landscaping, housekeeping, snow plowing, furniture management, and janitorial services.
