About the position

The Facility Manager at Leadec Corp is responsible for overseeing and directing the Facilities Maintenance manager for preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for various facility assets. This role requires critical decision-making capabilities and excellent communication skills to effectively plan and accomplish goals. The Facility Manager is accountable for generating revenue, overseeing project execution, and ensuring profitability while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct Facilities Maintenance manager for preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines at the site according to safety program requirements.
  • Provide technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to enhance decision-making.
  • Drive successful implementation of strategic initiatives for Leadec and its customers.
  • Manage relationships internally within Leadec and externally with customers and business partners.
  • Define problems, collect data, and establish facts to determine clear paths of action with goals and metrics.
  • Accountable for sales, operating cash flow, P&L, and legal compliance.
  • Operate the business within budgetary guidelines and report progress monthly.
  • Manage Leadec OS or other CMMS systems and develop site-specific task instructions.
  • Track and report all regulatory events and identify areas for improvement in maintenance planning.
  • Oversee projects from start to finish and keep management informed of critical situations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Previous project management experience required.
  • Experience with management of maintenance programs and major equipment services.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, MS Project).
  • Financial skills: budgeting, costing, forecasting, statistical analysis, P&L ownership, cost accounting.
  • Experience with electrical services and mechanical services such as HVAC and fire safety systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Gantt charts, Critical Path Analysis, and Resource Leveling.
  • Experience in 3rd party contract management.
