About the position

The Facilities Manager will serve as the primary contact for facilities management, working closely with the Regional Manager and Corporate Real Estate team to deliver high-quality facility management services. This role involves coordinating tenant requirements and ensuring service delivery meets satisfaction standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Area Manager in implementing short and long-term projects for the client project.
• Develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures to reduce operating costs and increase productivity.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for the client.
• Manage the development and oversight of capital and expense budgets in collaboration with client representatives.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance reports on operating budgets for each property.
• Assist in developing and implementing the annual management plan for the buildings in the area.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and communication for corporate tenant areas.
• Prepare regular tenant financial reports, including billing, credits, and operating expense statements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years industry experience in a corporate environment, third-party service provider, or as a consultant.
• Strong organizational and management skills within matrixed organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS SharePoint.
• Computer proficiency in CMMS/Work Order systems.
• Ability to supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting, and building systems.
• Experience overseeing multiple facilities with varied functions.
