About the position

The Facilities Manager at CAMS is responsible for overseeing the operation, repair, and maintenance of community properties in Raleigh, NC. This full-time role involves managing contractors, ensuring compliance with community standards, and maintaining facilities in first-class condition. The position requires effective communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to respond to emergencies and manage various maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, repair, and maintenance of association-owned properties.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Inspect facilities and properties routinely to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Establish and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for community amenities.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and manage janitorial/support staffing for events.
• Provide statistical reports on utility usage and work orders to the Community Manager.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and monitor departmental performance against the budget.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of experience in facility and grounds management and maintenance.
• Management Certified Pool Operator certification.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Windows-based programs.
• Valid driver's license and supervisory experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working for a community association or country club in a similar position.
• CPR/AED certified or willing to become certified.
